The LineGard™ PGFM system is engineered to provide advanced ground fault protection and dependable shore power safety through continuous monitoring of electrical current balance. Clear power and fault status indicators allow for quick identification of system conditions, including the ability to distinguish between a ground fault and a short circuit trip for more efficient troubleshooting. Built with a chemical and UV resistant enclosure, the unit is designed to perform reliably in demanding environments and operates within a wide temperature range from -35°C to +66°C. It supports a protection range of 0 to 50 Amps at 120 VAC and 120/240 VAC, and accommodates up to three 6 AWG wires without requiring twisting, simplifying installation.
Designed to meet ABYC E-11 standards, the system features a precise trip level of less than 30mA with a rapid response time of under 100 milliseconds. The PGFM works in tandem with an Airpax™ LEL series UL 489 listed circuit breaker, equipped with a shunt trip and auxiliary switch manufactured by Sensata Technologies, forming a fully integrated protection solution. By continuously monitoring the current balance across conductors supplying power to the load, the system detects leakage and immediately triggers the breaker when a fault occurs, ensuring both equipment leakage protection and main shore power circuit protection for enhanced safety and compliance.
