How this works: Shore power cordsets are rated for continuous use at about 80% of their breaker rating (NEC/ABYC practice) — so a 30A/125V connection safely delivers roughly 24A (≈2,880W) continuously, and a 50A/125-250V connection — SmartPlug's largest available system — safely delivers roughly 40A per leg (≈9,600W combined). Wattages shown are typical nameplate averages for reference only — always confirm against the nameplate/spec sheet of your actual equipment, and consult a qualified marine or RV electrician before upgrading shore power service. This tool is provided for general planning purposes and isn't a substitute for a professional load calculation.
