The new 50 Amp angled cordsets from SmartPlug are the result of years of research and real-world customer feedback, engineered to deliver a safer, more convenient shore power experience for RV owners. The angled design allows for easy one-handed engagement and disengagement, simplifying setup while improving connection control. By directing the cord downward and closer to the coach, it helps relieve strain on the RV structure, protecting both the inlet and surrounding surfaces from unnecessary stress. This low-profile positioning also keeps the cord neatly aligned along the side of the vehicle, reducing the risk of trip hazards and accidental run-overs. When it’s time to break camp, the streamlined form makes the cord easier to handle, coil, and store, providing a cleaner and more efficient pack-up every time.
